Lindy Braithwaite

Deputy Principal, Head of Senior School

BEd (Secondary) Economics & Law


Lindy joined CGGS in 2023 as the Director (Studies), having lead another PK-12 Independent School through seven years of outstanding academic results and the authorisation and implementation of the IB Diploma Programme.

Originally from South Australia, she has taught Legal Studies and Business Management in several jurisdictions, including three years at the British (International) School in the Philippines while on a posting with her family. Lindy has had key roles in cross sector Curriculum and Assessment development including ACARA, BSSS, SSABSA, NTBOS and a project with ANU to develop an extension course for senior students. As a lifelong learner, she is currently working towards her Masters of Business Administration. Lindy loves being in the classroom and supporting young people to find and pursue their passions. She is committed to the education of the whole child and implementing strategies to enable teachers to really know their students.

Nancy Lee

Director of Senior School (Academic Administration)

BSc CS, MEd


Nancy joined CGGS in 2009 as a Mathematics teacher, and has held the position of Head of Mathematics for several years before joining the Senior Management Team.

She had an early career as a computer programmer for a major pharmaceutical company and then transitioned to secondary mathematics teaching. Before her arrival at CGGS she spent 10 years teaching Mathematics at a public high school in the USA, taking on the role of IB coordinator and department head. Her academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science with a Minor in Mathematics from Penn State University and a Masters of Education from University of Colorado at Boulder.

Anna Partridge

Director of Senior School (Student Care and Experience)

Anna joined CGGS in 2025, bringing extensive experience in student wellbeing and educational leadership.

Before returning home to Canberra this year, Anna spent the past four years in Adelaide leading pastoral care initiatives and embedding whole-school, evidence-based wellbeing programs designed to help students flourish academically, socially and personally.

Appointed President-Elect of the International Positive Psychology Association in 2025, Anna continues to connect global research with positive education best practice in schools around the world. Her work has been recognised nationally, including receiving the South Australian Minister for Education Award for Outstanding Contribution to Learners’ Development and Wellbeing, and leading a program named among Australia’s Top Eight for Best Student Wellbeing Program. A strong advocate for children’s mental health and wellbeing, Anna has contributed to the national conversation in government policy as a conference speaker, published author and regular contributor to HuffPost and Wellbeing Magazine.

A nationally certified Highly Accomplished Teacher and HALT Assessor, Anna is passionate about mentoring and coaching teachers to be at their best, while nurturing the academic, social and emotional needs of students in the classroom. She is delighted to have the opportunity to walk alongside CGGS Senior School students as they grow with confidence, purpose and joy.

Lisa Plenty

Director of Senior School (Learning and Innovation)

BEd (Visual Art & Literacy Studies), DipGD, MEd (Knowledge Networks and Digital Innovation)


Lisa joined CGGS at the start of 2026 as the Director of Learning and Innovation.

As an experienced educational leader and strategic thinker, she is dedicated to a focus on student-centered learning, inclusion, pedagogical excellence and the importance of critical and creative thinking. Lisa is relational in her approach, with experience leading learning design and teacher professional learning, pastoral and curriculum teams and teaching across P–12 and higher education. Lisa is passionate about fostering the alignment between curriculum, assessment and wellbeing.

Lisa has developed and fostered educational networks, presented at a range of conferences and educational workshops and lead action research projects on aligning pedagogy and learning environments.
